Golden Grey Gurus!

Shouting out to GR and Lilylass!
I have trialled the Golden Grey white and the cats seem to like it. I am less keen on the nasty synthetic lavendar smell....and the way it turns to cement if it is not deep enough or the cats pee in the corner of the tray.:o
Has anyone tried the unscented Golden Grey Odour? I have a funny feeling someone said it was not as good as the other varieties.

Right! its cat litter! couldn't work out from the title what thread was about. thought it something to do with transcendental meditation!
I just use any clay based litter - Barnes (who is a fussy bu99er at the best of times) doesn't seem to mind what brand or unbrand.
If its cleaned out every day it doesn't smell and Barnes makes sure its cleaned out every time he poos or pees.

*thought I heard someone yelling* .... ohhhhhh gave away my disguise!!!!! PMSL I didn't even realise!!!

Was going to say that I'm positive GR has tried the unscented one & it's just as good .... but she beat me too it!!


Now ..... does anyone think there's going to be an offer on it soon as I need some more & don't want to do my usual of ordering and then getting the offer email within a couple of days!!

(I actually can't wait to finish the BioKats and get them both onto the GG - I really have been totally converted by the better clumping & how much better it lasts without the litter degrading :T - even worth the extra tracking!)

as I have 4 and Paddypaws is getting close to 30 cats.. could nto do with just any litter

PaddyPaws - I lied, sorry, I currently have the red or pink (not sure as they are outsde in the shed) bags indoors as run out of the blue ones and they had none when I ordered last time.

But had blue ones before, as good as any other variety of this brand

"white" and "pine" I have not tried so can not say...

I just have the one cat and quite honestly would submit to psychiatric evaluation before paying £20 for cat litter!

if you have multiple cats and this works out cheaper than 'any old cat litter'. then go for it!

Ahhhh but you can't just look at the initial cost - as it will last ages:)

How much do you spend on litter every month?

GG works out at less than £5 / month for us

Rising - ermmmm... not for me.

My boys go through 2 bags per month so 19.99 per month - which comes to £5.00 per week per cat not £5.00 per week for all 4

Yup GR but sure you'll know that 4 cats are bound to make more of a mess using a tray than 1 - so you really don't need to change it so often with just one cat

I use 1 bag in the tray & then the 2nd will last for top ups for ages!

I usually end up changing because I feel I should not because it looks like it needs it

I also know others who leave it much longer than I do

So - for one cat using a tray it really can cost as little as £5 / month:)

How much does your litter cost weekly/monthly? Less than £5.00 per month or £1.25 per week?:D
