  • bethanyayres, shame there's not a hat tip smiley for you. Looks like you're getting there - some people have reacted badly to the "tough love" on this forum. Much, much better to have your defence picked over here than lose at court!
These people do know what they're talking about - some have been successful lay representatives in court for defendants in PPC cases. With their help you can win but you must understand, not parrot.

so, do we know if this is the infamous peel centre car park or one of their other ones ?

I have read through the whole combined thread but cannot see any details, although I can understand it if she doesnt want to mention it at this stage

ps:- just saw it says Leeds so I assume its one around there somewhere, not stockport

I also note that this ticket jumped from one to eight !
  • They say they've given the driver 8 but I certainly haven't received 8 NTK's!

I would send an email to the DVLA and ask for each time that this PPC has accessed your data (every occasion) between certain named dates. Make it clear you are NOT asking for data, this is your own car and will not expect to pay £5 for the information. Stress that this is to do with a PPC complaint as you don't think Excel got your data 8 times (as they'd have to. They can't keep data for next time).

DVLA email addy for David Dunford is in the NEWBIES sticky thread.

  • Hey guys, update for you.

I've contacted the site manager and the land owner who have both confirmed they are happy for the tickets to be cancelled. However Excel parking are refusing to cancel them. Can they do this?

Will it help resolve the case at court with emails from the site manager and from the land owners saying they are happy for this to be cancelled? How can Excel claim to be representing the landowner but disregard their cancellation notice?

Have they instructed Excel to cancel?

Saying they are happy for them to do so means nothing. I mean - WE are all happy for them to do so too, but that doesn't mean it'll happen.
