Congrats Auntie Tru Hope the Mum and Baby are well.
knitting was good this morning and I had donated to me a very, very large ball of bright orange wool so that will go into one of my charity blankets that I knit.I think I may use it in a striped effect with some black for a 'tiger pattern.:):):)
Posted my big brothers cards off to him from the family as its his birthday on the 12th and where he lives in France is very rural so the post is a bit hit and miss at times.
No shopping bought today though,I did have a peek in the co-op when I was in there(its a sub post office as well) but nothing tempted me to open my purse:):)
Tomorrow I have a coffee morning at the local Dobbies with the U3A so my coffee will be paid for with one of my freebie Dobbies vouchers.I get 24 a year for my £10.00 yearly subscription, well worth it as a decent large coffee is £2.75-99 depending on flavour, plus lots of money off discounts as well
I got some more library books as well this morning so if the weather or t.v. doesn't improve, then I can always read my books.
Have a good eveninmg everyone, what ever you are doing
Cheers chums JackieO xxx0 -

He arrived yesterday, just before 11am. I'm trying not be one of those annoying people who turn up as soon as the baby is home from hospital but it's really hard
Also this cold is still hanging on, I don't want to pass it on. I'll give them a ring later and arrange to go round in the next couple of days. I have a couple of photos of him on the laptop, I keep opening them and staring at him

Congratulations Aunty tru :jTTFTM, hope you are ok today, I know I really felt it on dad's birthday last year. I can't help thinking that this time last week mum was still with us.
It's a long time ago for me snoozer but I still miss my mum and dad terribly. I don't think that feeling ever goes but it's a lovely warm remembrance now, rather than the early raw grief. I hope this changes for you soon xx
Have just put some of my dad's wartime photos on facebook. I scanned them recently for GDD who was doing a WWII project for school. She is very proud of the great granddad she never met.LBM 10/1/12 ~ DFW Start 6/2/12: £82,344 ~ Now Zero:staradmin:starmod::staradmin Debt free 17th April 2015 :staradmin:starmod::staradmin

Hello all,
I'm struggling to post every day, I'm reading though, the black dog is well and truly here, I'm struggling to get out of bed never mind anything else:(
Think the operation and everything that goes with it has got on top of me.
I will keep popping in until I'm feeling myself.
Congratulations Tru xx
Julie, please don't try and do too much too soon and then feel frustrated because you can't. Have been there and done that enough times to have several t-shirts!
Do you have any crochet or anything like that to do? You can show off your lovely work to us and make us all jealous.
Take care please xxLBM 10/1/12 ~ DFW Start 6/2/12: £82,344 ~ Now Zero:staradmin:starmod::staradmin Debt free 17th April 2015 :staradmin:starmod::staradmin

Nice here today but the wind chill was bitter.
I went down and picked up a prescription and then popped into Wilko for some more kitchen roll and garden bags that are on special offer. I might get some more tomorrow because one of the lads told me that the deal is going in the next few days, but there is only so much I can carry on the scooter.
Congratulations Auntie Tru and to the proud parentshas he got a name yet?
Julie it is hard when your body won't let you do anything, but you have to allow yourself to heal and accept that it will be a few months before you start getting back to normal, knee replacement is major surgery Big (((Hugs))) x
Snoozer, it is so hard losing a parent and it takes a long time to come to terms with ((((Hugs))))
Have you a date for the funeral?
