Today virgin media were outside working in the box in the street doing a new install for someone up the road.
I’d used my phone just before they had started but latter in the day when I went to use it again no tone dead.
I rang virgin and they say in will be a week to repair it.
I’m really starting to hate the new virgin media.:mad:

A week isn't too bad really. In a very similar occurence, BT took 12 days to repair my neighbours' & my phone line some months ago. My neighbours, in their 80s, claimed on their mobile phone charges during that period & were successful (I didn't bother).
Hope they do repair it sooner. G
P.S. Btw, this may be more appropriate/get more responses on The (Consumer) Vent Board &/or Home Phones boards.0 -
With BT they will divert incoming calls to your mobile which is useful. You should ask virgin media to do the sameProblem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems

well "just looking" u batter off than me i have no line and its been over two weeks and they still saying that they going to send som1 to fix it for me.....
i was asking them to cancell as i dont have no phone for such long time so i can move to bt or som1 else....
i m making call from mobile and phone box and we got like 3 ,4 mobiles and we all use different ones so wats gona happen if i ask for refund for the call i made ???
they were telling me that i only get £1.50 per days if there is no service ..u cant imagin how angry i been and still m,,,,, and whn i ring them it only gets worse as they would keep u waiting for agesssssss and then transfers and holds and so on then the guy tell me " :rolleyes: SIR U WOULD GET THE REFUND FOR ALL THIS PERIOID U HAD NO PHONE FOR" which adds up tp £3 ... i should have said that they should shav it in their *** :mad: those refund line rent i want the service i signed up to not this loose money change .......:mad:
