Help me choose my phone

I am due for an upgrade and have no idea what phone I would like - I am currently on Vodafone paying £26 a month for 600 minutes and 500mb could go down to at least half of those allowances. Use phone for checking email, social media, camera, phones and texts and occasional web browsing.
My daughter recently had the S3 mini from CPW for £21 a month and had 200 cashback but she is not keen after having her Iphone.
I had an S2 which I loved until I washed it - been on a basic phone for a while.
Any suggestions gratefully recieved

Motorola Moto G - love mine. I bought the handset and am on a SIM only deal.

Moto G + Pay monthly usually good value. But Motorola sold to Lenovo, don't know how its future firmware support.

Sony Xperia Z/ Z1 - waterproof. But don't think it help if it is in washing machine...

Personally like the look of HTC One

Currently have a Galaxy S3 with TalkMobile. £22 per month. 500 Minutes, 1500 Texts, 1GB Data. No problems, so far. 5 months in.

I'd cancel contract, buy a Moto G outright and go SIM Only. £110 for phone, ~£.7.50 a month for your SIM with 500 mins, 1GB net and unlimited text. Simples.
