    the write cycles are per cell, not for the whole drive.
    the drives are smart enough to balance the writes across the whole drive so it doesn't use the same cells each time.

    many people use SSD's as thier main drive in a pc/laptop, which includes the swap file which is constantly being written to (more so than any PVR will do)
