Wickes vs. Ikea kitchen?

So im going to look at homebase. Any thoughts on them....??

Had our Homebase kitchen for a year now and love it. Quality of it is perfectly fine imo. We didn't use their fitters though as they were going to charge a fortune! We found our own who was excellent and has done more work for us since.

I fitted a Wickes kitchen in my son's house a couple of years ago. Good quality units, good discounts and no problem to get a replacement door when a split developed in one after about a year.

Quite different to a Homebase one I fitted, where one of the cupboard sides was broken - it was obviously packed that way as it was the second one down in the pack. Homebase and their supplier initially refused to replace, saying that I had to buy a whole new cupboard. When I escalated to one of their "managers" having told them I had reported to Trading Standards, I finally got a replacement. Dreadful service - would never buy another kitchen from them.
