OK, I'll try and do it as soon as I get home.
If you're going shopping in the meantime, for 2 servings it specifies 250g of button mushrooms, 1 onion, a 2cm bit of ginger, 2 cloves of garlic, sunflower oil, chilli powder, garam masala, turmeric and salt.
Dopiaza means "two onions" and a dopiaza is simply a curry with lots of onion.

This is quite easy to cook, if you like to use your own spices
Mushroom Bhoona
4 tbsp oil
1 med onion, chopped
1tsp each of ginger and garlic pulp
1/2 tsp each of turmeric, chilli powder, coriander powder
1 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp tom puree
225g mushrooms
60ml warm water
Heat oil and fry onions til light brown, reduce heat add pulps and spices stir fry for 2-3 mins. Add salt and tom puree stir fry for another 2 mins. Add the warm water and mushrooms, stir, cover the saucepan and simmer for 8 mins.0 -

If you want to do a dopiaza, you evidently double up the onion. A dopiaza is evidently simply a curry with lots of onion. Dopiaza means "double onion".

I am going to need to go shopping, but only really need the mushrooms. I always thought dopiaza was a more tomatoey curry? Am going to try this recipe though ... with the ginger too!!0 -
MUSHROOM CURRY
Serves 2
INGREDIENTS
250g of button mushrooms
1 onion
2 cloves of garlic
2cm (1 inch) piece of fresh ginger
4 tablespoons of sunflower oil
1 teaspoon of chilli powder
½ a tablespoon of garam masala
1 teaspoon of ground turmeric
½ a teaspoon of salt
125ml of water
METHOD
Wipe the mushrooms clean. Chop the ends off the stalks. Peel and chop the onion into small bits. Peel and chop the garlic into tiny pieces. Peel and cut the ginger into tiny cubes.
Put the oil into a frying pan over a medium heat. Put the onions, garlic and ginger into the pan and cook for 3 minutes until it is golden, stirring frequently to stop it sticking. Add the chilli, garam masala and turmeric and stir round. Add the mushrooms, salt and water and mix thoroughly. Bring to the boil, then turn down the heat until it is just boiling (simmering). Put a lid on and cook for 10 minutes. Check the water level from time to time and top up if needed.
ADDITIONS & ALTERATIONS
The quantity of chilli powder above makes for a medium curry. For a mild one, decrease this to ½ a teaspoon. For a hot one, increase this to 2 teaspoons.
For the medium or hot versions only, add a small (142ml) carton of yoghurt or single cream just before serving.
For Mushroom Dopiaza, add another onion, sliced into rings, at the same time as the mushrooms. Dopiaza means “two onions” and is simply a curry with lots of onion, some added part way through cooking.

Update. I tried my new recipe above over the weekend. Generally OK, but I think you need more time to reduce the liquid down at the end. Also, I think I added my yoghurt a bit too soon and at a bit too high a heat and it curdled, albeit only slightly. It does do two portions, but they are at the lower end of the range, at approx. 200g each. You could always add more mushrooms, but I like to try and keep the ingredients to readily available pack sizes. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0

simply boil and drain pasta as normal, then add in butter (only 53/pkt at lidl) and garlic powder (or granules, 49p lidl) and a pinch of salt. sprinkle with cheapy parmesan cheese out of the canister and mmmmm heavenly!
