This is last post to Noh,
All the rights and wrongs plus the Link posted by you here.
Regard their adds they also advertise fast execution ,even on busy times .
But here it is .
Mr Prinzi bought 20.000 barclays shares at £ 2,90 with their ATI ,as they say it is perfect normal to use it as longs you sell in the same day ,it is fine .
Mr Prinzi wanted to sell that shares as it was to much money and were going down ,so he put them up for sale ,and all day long kept adjusting the price according to the market ,but they never sold them ,all the day long and he was keep losing money ,
So he had to wait for the day after to sell them ,as according to them there was no market for them it was,t a million only 20.000 .
Now they give you the credit ,and tell you you can use it but have to sell on the day .
Now not only they did not sold those shares ,but the day after credit his account with another 60.000 on top of that .
You can almost think that this broker is running a losing business , or gambling with the banks money .
Those shares could have delisted , and the portfolio only worth around 40.000 or less ,the customer had 200,000 pounds to invest as he liked .
But unless this is, they knew barclays shares were safe no chances of them going under .
And buy not selling those shares ,the bank got 8 pounds for direct debit returned unpaid ,because if you sell the day after ,you still pay this 8 pounds ,the broker charged interests overnight , and no problem in advance more ,money he could buy more ,at cheaper and keep losing money , and in the end they got those shares cheaper back to them plus interests , fees and some more cash from Mr Prinzi,s portfolio to pay for the losses given to him by them for not selling his shares with cash provided by them .
As for them being an execution only broker ,once they asked ,and were tould their market makers are barclays capital .
They don ,t take the other side of you,r trade but if they have market makers ,I doubt they will sell to someone else either than their own ,simple .
So here is the reason for this upfront money big time , and what was the excuse for not selling ,no market available for this shares Penny shares with code BARCS .0 -

You say they were bought at £2.90 and the article says the events took place in late 2008. It's interesting to note that in 2007 the share price was up around £7.90, so in the year leading up to this investment, the shares had already fallen by over 60%. How could anyone think there were not huge risks attached to investing in a share that was already performing so badly?0 -

Here, buy the end of this month Mrs Freitas is going to be in London .
I will arrange for you lot to go and ask her questions you can put her on trial, rather that hide behind anonymous posts to insult and , and write vicious attacks .
I made no vicious attacks, I am not hiding anything. I just disagree with you, and didn't realize you were the people in the newspaper until a few posts ago. Now that I do, my opinion hasn't changed, I still think you are the author of your own misfortune.
Basically, you can't post what you have here, and expect everyone to agree with you. Period.
If you don't like what we say, go back to the papers?
I don't know what you expect here, but this is what you get. Peoples opinions.0 -
Mr Prinzi bought 20.000 barclays shares at £ 2,90 with their ATI ,
They are now at £2.71. 6.5% down on that price, if he was investing over a minimum of 10 years, as advised, he will almost certainly be up by 2018, rather than a moron with no money.Mr Prinzi wanted to sell that shares as it was to much money and were going down ,so he put them up for sale ,
Why sell for less than you bought? When as you say "they knew barclays shares were safe no chances of them going under ." In which case will almost certainly bounce back given time. Barclays actually acquired some good assets during the crash which will serve them well in the future.
and all day long kept adjusting the price according to the market ,but they never sold them ,all the day long and he was keep losing money ,
So he had to wait for the day after to sell them ,as according to them there was no market for them it was,t a million only 20.000 .
Surprisingly enough, there are not queues of people wanting to buy during a crash, they generally try and work out when its near the bottom and buy in then. This shares are more illiquid.
Now not only they did not sold those shares ,but the day after credit his account with another 60.000 on top of that .
If you have just had your fingers burnt, sticking your face in the pan generally is idiotic. As everyone has said, just because its there doesn't mean you use it. Or we would all be bankrupt like these fools, by borrowing money which we cant pay back and investing in things we don't understand. .0 -
