    Sorry ,

For upsetting so much . Re. ,BARCLAYS WOULD HAVE REMOVED THE CREDIT AS THE CLIENTS INVESTMENTS GO DOWN .

Quite normal, really .? why did they not removed when they were asked to ? instead they went on to increase it . buy then this peoples have lost enough ,but not enough to have the ATI removed . also 98 direct debits returned unpaid according the them ,there was no case for concern,s .

Do you,r home work first before spattering out all this stuff im sure you know a lot about barclays but you cannot paint black to white,

as desperate you seem to be .

This says it all, LOL .

The credit facility was there but Barclays did not make them use it.

They asked Barclays to remove the facility it was not removed why then did they continue to use it?

    What happened to personal responsibility?

Absolutely. Just because something is made available doesn't mean you have to use it - like my credit card example earlier.

    Frustrated maybe, upset no.

Frustrated that you seem unable to take any personal responsibility for what you did but want to blame everyone else. Would you blame William Hill for opening a betting account and letting you gamble all your money away? Or a car company for selling you a brand new car that will fall 50% in value in 3 years? Sometimes you need to take responsibility for your own decisions and realise when you've made a mistake.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

    frustrated what a shame ,.

What is so frustrating for you ? is it the fact from now on it will be harder to fool peoples .

Do you know the meaning of fraud? FRAUD IS COMMITTED WHEN MONEY IS OBTAIN BY DECEPTION ,.

FRAUD IS ALSO ,APPLIED WHEN SOMEONE WITH SUPERIOR KNOWLEDGE USES THAT KNOWLEDGE ,TO GAIN ADVANTAGE OVER SOMEONE WHO IS NOT ON THE SAME LEVEL .

Why are you shouting? If you are upset that nobody is agreeing with you here, maybe it isn't a good idea to continue posting.

What you are describing as fraud isn't fraud. It is perfectly legal to gain advantage over someone who is not on the same level. Bookies to this when they set odds. It's irrelevant to this discussion though, because Barclays did not know in advance what was going to happen to those "investments".

    That's a new one.
Is my knowledge greater than yours? If so am I being fraudulent by taking advantage of that fact by telling you that you are wrong?

From the facts presented it is quite clear that no fraud was involved.
Fraud has not even been mentioned until your post.
The people who lost their money in this case fooled themselves.
They have no one else but themselves to blame.
