It'll be 2000w maximum, so get a lead rated for at least 10 Amps and you'll be fine (as long as you fully extend it).

Something like that would work, I got one similar on Ebay for about £15, it was clearance stock from the late "Focus DIY".

Might also be worth buying an RCD circuit breaker, just in case there's a chance of it getting damaged whilst in use.

yeah thasts the one i have, been fine with a vaccum. i thought mine was 30m. but i guess its 25m

I must admit that after years of faffing with extension leads, 12V hoovers and rechargeables I've given up and pay a quid to use the hoover at my local Tesco petrol station - plenty of power and does a great job.

I don't and have never vacuumed my car, I just fitted mats, I shake them off every few months and wipe down the interior with a cloth occasionally. Oh and I don't let anyone eat or drink or do anything other than SIT in my car.

I do however sometimes leave a 1500w PTC ceramic fan heater in the car at night when I know there's going to be a frost. The 25m reel in the boot, fully extended, carefully fed through the seal near the boot latch, plugged into my garages external socket, on a 6am timer.... Warm, frost free car every morning

Frost?... Worse bit is the walk from the back door to the barn...
