back on Liz Earle,I have used C&P in the past but stopped getting it as could only find it with clothes and I have loads so pleased to buy from them and even better getting free gift :)

Don't quite get this! Do you mean that you would have to shop for it in John Lewis and go past the clothes first??

Woohoo!! I may be smothered in just a touch more body lotion than is strictly necessary for one day, however big drumroll as I kissed goodbye to Sanctuary Spa Body Lotion 200ml

Don't put a pair of tights on too soon afterwards xx:rotfl:

You and Russell Howard are an item? :D

Oh dear, did I post that? He asked me not to tell anyone!! I'm also seeing Jack Whitehall on 8 March too and I think he also wanted me to keep it secret. If anyone from "The Sun" is reading my contact details are ....... :rotfl:

    who is Russell Howard?

Shame on your rosemary!! Russ (yes, we are that friendly) is a comedian. He has a show on BBC3 (and Dave now) called Russell Howard's Good News. He used to be on Mock the Week a lot too (also can be seen on Dave).

I just loaded my basket at fragrancedirect, then closed the window. I want new shampoo and conditioner as I am really not getting on with my current ones, but I know if I buy the Osmo ones I'm eyeing up, my stash will continue to linger :(

If I can get to the end of March without any unnecessary INS I will treat myself. That's the deal.

That's the way to think. x

  • Ooooooh I love a bit o'Russel Howard Valm! Have fun tomorrow.
We are doing well on the toiletries front, had an excellent month but then, lush bought out their amazing new products didn't they??! Sighhhhhh! So now more INs to declare:
    3x Rose bubble bar
    1x Golden Egg bomb
    2x Easter Bunny bubbles
1xInhale/Exhale bomb (can see me getting more of these and the rose!)

    UUs
    -Tramp 500ml shower gel WBA
    -Ponche 250ml WBA
-Figs and Leaves soap-TA because it has been at the sink for a year and looking a bit manky, amazing how they last. Prob WNBA as texture not quite right for me, though I love the smell.
-Marzibain BB WDBA but not available anymore *Sob*
    -Cinders WBA
-Shoot for the stars WBA Love this bomb!!

Roll on March for the ultimate PP list, avoshower and sonic DM are spluttering now, yipee! :j

This is exactly what happened to me too. I did the daily TV survey for about 6 years and then one day I was unceremoniously dumped when they decided they no longer needed me. greensmilies-004.gif

Back on topic, I went to Waitrose earlier and debated again about whether to buy the Baby Bottom Butter as, like girlybags, I've seen lots of bloggers rave about it. I thought better of it though. :A

I bought the Waitrose BBB when it was first getting all the love on beauty blogs 5 or 6 years ago:o. In fact I still have about a jar and a half of it:(, I only use it on my hands or feet with gloves/socks on, I find it thick and sticky and yuk. OK as a first aid sort of cream for chapped or dry patches perhaps or cuticles.

ETA - Just went to check and the opened jar is thick and yukky, but the new one is quite fine and nice, so think it needs to be used reasonably quickly, and not as in my case, found many months later lurking at back of a drawer!! (It is scarily apparent why I need to keep signing up to this challenge. LOL

He's a comedian who I happen to have a slight crush on and Val's secret boyfriend by all accounts! :rotfl:

Thanks maddiemay, that's useful to know and has definitely put me off wanting to try it. :)
Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.... :/
  • Got emailed a voucher code for £10 off a Bravura London Hyaluronic Acid serum (similar to Hydraluron) and I'm really tempted, but what about my stash?! I've only just opened a new serum, but after that I've only got a sample serum left, so I know I'll need a new one at some point.
    No more goo hoarding!

  • Babafette I too had this cream a few years back. I thought it ws great to start with but felt in the long run that it made dry skin worse. I wouldn't bother IMO :)

Gosh I didn't even know sanctuary weren't with the orange packaging anymore, shows how old some of my stash is...

My alpha h order has just arrived and i'm hoping it works on my skin! Went into debenhams yesterday and asked the man on the ysl counter if he could try touche eclat on my undereye circles. Bless him, he didn't try to sell me it, and told me to try keep hydrated as much as possible and look at my diet. Was v kind of him not to try to sell me something that doesn't work, but when makeup won't touch y undereye circles then it's not good!

Was also wondering if anyone on here suffered with acne? I'm wondering whether I should go to the doctors, or keep persevering? I looked on Caroline Hirons website but it said I needed to give up dairy, sugar and all meats but chicken and veg, whcih I cannot see happening ever! xxx

    Anyway, OUTS...
46/47/48 - Neal's Yard samples of frankinsense oil and frankincense cream sent to my Mum
49 - Neal's Yard frankincense facial oil sample - nice but greasy. I'd only use this at night. Probably wouldn't buy again.
50 - E45 nourish and restore body lotion - lovely but basic. Might buy again.

I hope that the Alpha H works for you:), my skin is sensitive/ dry side of normal and advanced in years:rotfl:, I started using the LG on a damp cotton pad and after 3 applications (6 days) progressed to using it neat with no adverse reactions. I think that I recently read somewhere not to use foaming cleansers before applying the LG, as they change the Ph of the skin and then the LG has to work harder than it would on normal Ph skin, therefore, not so effective. Keep us posted how it works for you:)
