Interesting point about The Woman in Black, I thought the ending to the film was too ambiguous. I have read the book and seen the play and had a completely different take on the ending of the film than the woman I went to see it with.

I haven't seen the play. I loved the ending of the book though.

just got home to find my Liz Earle cleanse and polish had arrived, very impressed with the speed it too AND they gave me a 30ml tube and a cloth free as well as the 100 ml pump I had bought so not bad for £13.25

LE Customer Service is really good rosemary. Is this the first time you have used C&P?

Well Feb is nearly over. I don't think I'll have any more UUs now before Friday. Very impressed with the Smashbox mascara that I started this morning. As opposed to the YSL one that I bought. Ah well live and learn.

I have just been paid but tend to live by VISA bill statement dates (I know, I know) so am planning on a couple of purchases when my next statement rolls around on 7 March. I do need some LG Balance N Brighten and have decided I'm going to buy myself a jar of Clinique eye gel rather than the Organics one purely because it's £10.00 cheaper and this means I'm only adding £5.00 to the Boots Gift Card I have. I am also nearly in need of a bottle of Essie Top Coat and have put in a request for same for Mother's Day gift.

This means I need to be really savvy over the next month so I can start saving for my hols in August.

Am going to go in a mo and repaint my finger nails. I did do them last night and used the French Connection Barbie pink colour which I don't like. Just didn't apply well - is very streaky. Have decided to repaint them in Sephora by OPI I'm With Brad.

Have a lovely evening ladies. I'm also planning on watching the Season Finale of Sleepy Hollow. Going to miss that show, it's been fab.

Might not get a chance to post for the rest of Feb as I'm out at a Charity Fashion Show tomorrow and seeing Russell Howard on Friday night. x

Without spoiling it for everybody else, I thought the film was trying to stay vaguely true to the book in that the final act was actually another evil deed, but my friend thought it was a good deed. What were your thoughts Val?

Nearly gone a whole month with no make up purchases :j I think I am going to break this in March though but I am definitely not going to buy myself any further eyeshadow palettes for the foreseeable so that is a (small) step forward!!

Going to go through my make up and switch some products around tonight. It's a bit sad but I love doing this! Am disappointed with the Collection concealer in the light shade, it seems to oxidise and go orange on me :o am using it up though by mixing it with the fair one which is slightly too light for me.

had a call from GFK to do a mystery shop,he said I just had to ask 1 question......spent 30 mins trying to pass the test you do before you can do the job and kept failing it!!!!!AND it was a lot more than 1 question!!!!!all for £8 minus my time and petrol I think not,no wonder I have not worked for them since 2010!!!had forgotten what they were like

sorry nothing to do with forum just *issed off by it

yes that's why I stopped working for them too  I used to do the daily TV survey as well then they stopped sending a link and when I queried why I couldn't log on they told me I was no longer required.

Back on topic, no more INs or UUs, my birthday was a couple of days ago and thankfully no INs but do have a nice hotel stay to look forward to in a couple of weeks from my BF :)

So you'd recommend the foot cream? I will have a look to see if any left when I go later this week as I don't have any foot cream at all.

Two completely unintentional and technically free INs from my slimming club raffle:
    Nivea Rich Moisturising Day Cream
Nivea 3 in 1 cleansing water

Well done on the wins. I am very lucky with raffles but make a point of avoiding toiletries as prizes if I can possibly help it.

Being completely neutral and objective for once, yes, I still would definitely recommend the A!di Lacura Hydro Urea Foot Cream.
It's 10% urea, which is quite high, and it rubs in like a dream. I'd forgotten how good it was as it hasn't been on Special for a year.
The top now has a security tab, which I don't recall before so they probably had to re-design the packaging. It's unfragranced too and suitable for sensitive as well as dry skin.

I am forcing myself to finish off the Av*n Glycerine and Cocoa Butter foot cream but it rubs in poorly and has a weird synthetic, slightly sour, citrussy smell that seems common to a few Av*n products. It doesn't help that you tend to use more when trying to use something up and therefore have more to rub in...

On the plus side for Av*n I have nearly used up my lovely black cherry and nutmeg body lotion, sniff. I really grew to like this.
I don't have an Av*n rep ATM and don't want one either as I would have graduated by now if it wasn't for Av*n! :p

Have UU'd a six week sample of conditioner that came with a L'Oreal hair dye I was set to trial. WIB? Don't think so. It seemed lovely to start with but less impressive over my last few uses, hair was left a bit lank.
Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.

Rosemary I had a similar experience with most mystery shopping companies I used. The amount of time involved vs the payment wasn't worth it. I had to miss one visit when my friend collapsed and I took them to the hospital, and because I pulled out at the last minute the company I used blacklisted my account for a month! I stopped doing them shortly after that...

    Hope everyone is well :)

I have finished off a little Champneys Spa Treatment Hand Cream - quite nice, I'd be happy to received it in another gift set, am sure the price would shock me to buy it!

Oh I meant to ask if there's any way I can refill an empty hand cream bottle with normal lotion? It's got a very small nozzle on the top, but if I can top up the bottle, I can use up some lotions too!

This is exactly what happened to me too. I did the daily TV survey for about 6 years and then one day I was unceremoniously dumped when they decided they no longer needed me. greensmilies-004.gif

Back on topic, I went to Waitrose earlier and debated again about whether to buy the Baby Bottom Butter as, like girlybags, I've seen lots of bloggers rave about it. I thought better of it though. :A

    Hello ladies!

It has been a while. I have another UU: Tresemme Blondethingumy highlighting shampoo.

WIBA? Yes - it's the only thing my hair seems to like. I wish it would behave better!

I have had to write and run, so I'll catch up when I get the chance. Take care and I'll catch up soon. x

  • Have my first uu to report :)

The Barbara daily skin wisdom night cream- wmba - I actually won this as part of hamper of products from the range, I liked the cream and felt it did moisture quite well and good thickness for a night cream, I don't know how much it costs but being a tesco brand can't imagine it's a huge amount so if its a fair price I would buy it in the future :)
