  • Well done on the wins. I am very lucky with raffles but make a point of avoiding toiletries as prizes if I can possibly help it.

Being completely neutral and objective for once, yes, I still would definitely recommend the A!di Lacura Hydro Urea Foot Cream.
It's 10% urea, which is quite high, and it rubs in like a dream. I'd forgotten how good it was as it hasn't been on Special for a year.
The top now has a security tab, which I don't recall before so they probably had to re-design the packaging. It's unfragranced too and suitable for sensitive as well as dry skin.

Thanks! I'll try and get some as I've been having problems with dry feet when I haven't had any foot cream lately:(

Another UU for me, LUSH Oatifix face mask. My second fav Lush mask, just find it a bit greasy sometimes without being moisturising if that makes sense.
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales
  • Caudalie 15ml hand and nail cream. Nice, might buy if I ever use up the stash of handcreams.

Cuccio hand butter 5ml tube. Pomegranite and something. Not bad but not good enough to go looking for, have another tiny tube in a different scent in my handbag right now.

Should use up another hand cream by the end of the month. This frigid weather is drying out my skin like you wouldn't believe.

The satchel is working out great as an everything bag for work. Had to laugh tho, some of the young ones were amazed that I knew what they were. Duh, I had one as a schoolgirl back in the 60s.

Spain, I enjoyed just lazing around. We did get to Granada and Gibralter, they were must sees. Couple of museum days in Malaga. I know you will think this strange, but I'd go back again before I'd go to Mexico. Even though Mexico's weather is better! Just felt safer and cleaner. I must be getting old.
  • Some UU to declare:

Balance Me toning shower gel mini - WNBA was OK but didnt wow me
    Lush Abominaball - WMBA
Lush Ickle baby bot - WBA
30ml Elemis PCMC - HG replaced with the same. This didnt seem to last long and ive decided that I must be much more liberal with my application when applying from pots rather than tubes.

I am on annual leave tomorrow in a bid to use up my leave before the end of the financial year (doesnt seem much point as I have to work on Saturday anyway but it will be nice to catch up with a few jobs. Have taken the opportunity to paint my nails with Dance Legend Wow prism - strutter (and its another green).
    No more buying toiletries
  • I hear you Moneyless Mac. I had to work Saturday night because they had no staff and didn't want to pay overtime, so they ended my holidays early. Only to send me an email telling me I hadn't used enough of my vacation and I had to use six days worth by March 31. I only work 8 days every four weeks.

I managed to complete January's PP list, so here is February's PP list...

    [strike]1. Clinique moisture surge[/strike]
    [strike]2. Vaseline night body renewal[/strike]
    [strike]3. Boots spa firming cream[/strike]
    [strike]4. Ted Baker Body scrub[/strike]
    [strike]5. Ted Baker shower gel[/strike]
    [strike]6. Dove body lotion[/strike]
    7. A'kin hand cream
    8. Avon curly hair serum
    [strike]9. Tova Signature Perfume[/strike]
    [strike]10. No 7 P & P serum[/strike]

    2 more UUs from PP.

Ted Baker Body wash in butterfly wings - WMBA, loved the fragrance but didn't feel it lathered as well as other gels, even using a shower net.

Dove body lotion - WNBA, just has the generic body lotion smell, seemed to absorb okay at first, but although skin wasn't wet or even tacky, I was aware of it.

Been a slow OUT month. 1 PP is a splutterer and the other I may get finished by end of February, if not very early March.

    Best get off to bed.
    Night night xx

  • on my feb PP list
the 900ml tresseme 2 in 1 shampoo conditioner is almost empty (but theres another identical one in the stash)
a tube of face serum ive seem to have been using forever is starting to splutter
a small tube of eye serum - see above
sachet of face mask - ill use that next then go back to the tube
bottle of obsession perfume ive been using it for a couple of years but i think im going to wear it every day now till its gone as ive got loads of other much nicer perfumes in the stash that i want to be wearing.

:T can report all of these items have been used up now the perfume bottle spluttered and gave up last night and the very last of the eye serum was used as hand cream this morning when i cut the tube open and rubbed it over my hands.:T

will sort out a march pp list over the weekend
    SPC~12 ot 124

Another shower and the shampoo still splutters on..........

I found an ancient unused Olay body puff which is now in use and decided to treat myself and crack open an Imperial Leather Foamburst Gel. I have three cans of this which I have been saving because I love it. They really are stash relics and by my reckoning, they are probably about 13 years old! The packaging appears to have changed at least twice since I bought these!

I hear you with the spluttery things, I'm going for a shower in a sec so may be back with a UU or 2 to report (or maybe not).:rotfl:

Enjoy your Foamburst, I remember when it first came out and I loved it too. I actually thought they had stopped doing it but found it somewhere here a couple of years back but not seen any for a long time.

Rosemary I had a similar experience with most mystery shopping companies I used. The amount of time involved vs the payment wasn't worth it. I had to miss one visit when my friend collapsed and I took them to the hospital, and because I pulled out at the last minute the company I used blacklisted my account for a month! I stopped doing them shortly after that...

    Hope everyone is well :)

I have finished off a little Champneys Spa Treatment Hand Cream - quite nice, I'd be happy to received it in another gift set, am sure the price would shock me to buy it!

Oh I meant to ask if there's any way I can refill an empty hand cream bottle with normal lotion? It's got a very small nozzle on the top, but if I can top up the bottle, I can use up some lotions too!
if you can get your hands on a tiny nozzle or test tube with a tapering end you could try that.
on subject of mystery shops,I was thrown off one because my son started on it and put my address even tho he had moved out and he still gets vouchers from them which he saves up so they come special delivery and then I have to send then to me again paying special delivery(mad icon but they don't work for me!)

only ever had one site worth using when I got paid up to £90 for getting a posh bra!
back on Liz Earle,I have used C&P in the past but stopped getting it as could only find it with clothes and I have loads so pleased to buy from them and even better getting free gift :)

I love the frangipani but have not tried the milk bath but have some in the stash so when I get round to having a bath I will use!(not a dirty girl but shower/swim mostly so a bath is a rare treat usually when home alone then T.V in nightie :).......)
