  • That is good to hear!
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D

    Hi everyone,

Sorry havent been on here for aagggeeesss. I am still trying to save but slacking in the frugle department and eating out loads etc, booked long weekends away as addicted to airbnb at the mo. :D

I am at about half of a kitchen in savings at the moment.

Just looking back at the previous posts I am sorry to say the new 'man' in my life is no more since a week before xmas (nice) but I had spent quite a bit on him and his present to me was a poor example :( felt like asking for it back! Back to single life and being a hermit again.

I still check my bank daily and today there was a payment today to Amazon prime! I have not purchased anything since 5th Jan and that was standard delivery, and my account does not show that I am a prime member. There has been nowhere that I have signed up for this at all. My kids arent old enough to have accounts and they wouldnt have my bank details anyway. I dont know where to contact them about it if my account doesnt show I've joined?
It doesnt show on my bank account as a DD so I cant cancel it that way either. HELP!

I checked my other email account in case it was related to that but I have never used any other emails for accounts and I only use it for paypal but when I logged in today there is a big message saying they will be closing orange emails as of 31st May. I remember trying to change my paypal email account before and struggled so I have no clue how to change this either other than open another paypal account which i really dont want to do.
EDIT: have changed my paypal account, just trying to link the email to my outlook emails now, and hope that ebay is automatically updated :(

Apart from all that everything is honkyey dorey!!!

Sorry to hear about the now-ex-man, nd :( - but there are still plenty of others out there - some are just hiding :)

I'd message amazon from your amazon account - have always found them helpful. And maybe contact bank as it could be a fraudulent payment

    Don't be a stranger ;)

    yeah amazon is sorted thanks.
Think I am going to stay single for a while, I'm more comfortable being a hermit at home.

Good luck you too! The most important thing, I guess, is to have the confidence that everytning will be all right. So, I can see you are the one. I hope everything will be ok!

Glad amazon is sorted - and whilst it's perfectly fine to be happy and single - please don't be a hermit all the time - generally us hooman beens are sociable sorts :) xx
