Switch 2 DD's/SO's via full switch and close the old account, and pay in 800 a month.
Existing customers qualify if they don't already pay in 800+ a month.
Super! My FlexDirect account can come into play, will have to fiddle about with a few savings DDs but shouldn't be too much of a problem 0 0

Any banks doing incentives for straight new signing up rather than switching? Been with TSB for 20 years-so worth keeping I think from yorkshireboy's comment.
Recently switched Santander to halifax and got the £100 very quickly.
Think I need to open a couple more to plan for switchover offers in future....0

What you can do it in 7 days?
I think you'll find to get the £100 or whatever you have to stay there a bit longer than that.0

I'd also like to take advantage of these switching incentives.
I recently switched a dormant HSBC account to Halifax and am now getting £5 a month on that account so would not like to switch it. My Nationwide FlexDirect is coming up to 12 months old, however I think I need it for the Web Isa I have just opened with them. I also have an RBS account which is my main account and will be kept indefinitely.
Presumably there is no harm in simply opening a basic bank account with, say, RBS and using that to switch from?0
