Well almost! Actually I think it's about 7% or so less than 6% of an acre! .... so don't go shortchanging the buyer!wecanhelpu wrote: »It's 0.06 or 6% of an acre
Why would you be trying to sell it by the acre anyway? I spent my youth on a farm and don't know anyone who could safely visualise 6% of an acre! I know I can't, even though I could estimate how long it would take to cut 6 acres with my 14 foot cut combine harvester in 1978:p
Why not just call it 227 (an a half if you are being pedantic!) square metres which is surely the number you first thought of and is also the number that tells me it would safely accommodate my studio flat 7 times or about a third of the ground occupied by the ex-missus house:mad:
Send me a PM with the details! I need more room to park my combine harvester!
PS The new area is just over 6% of an acre - a much better deal if you are calling it 6%:)0 -
I make it 0.07 acres (272.5 sqm). 8.5 x 35 minus [(8.5 - 6.5) x 25 / 2]
