BT Retention offer...best on offer?

I have recently come out of contract with BT from my Infinity 2 with anytime calls.
I called BT and was offered:-
12 month contract
Infinity 2 @ 22.65 per month
Line Rental 15.99 (or discounted if paid as one lump sum)
Anytime calls 7.00
I was disappointed to say the least.....
I pay at present,
Infinity 2 @ 27.67 per month
Line Rental 15.99
Anytime calls 5.48 (Legacy package)
So, I am being offered a discount of £5.02 off of the Infinity but have to pay 1.52 more for Anytime (due to new contract).
So a reduction (saving) overall of £3.50 per month....
Has anyone received a better offer than this for the equivalent product selection, and if so, how?
Thanks

Ask them for a MAC and see if they can offer better when you tell them why(their poor offer) you want to go elsewhere.
You don't have to use the MAC, it expires in 30 days.0 -
If you don't need BT sport switch to PlusNet. £101 cashback from Topcashback plus cheaper broadband and rental.0

Tried that before Christmas when BT informed me of the price rise...but they lost my order... after I had waited a month...
Also, the modem on offer doesnt have great reviews.....and I dont want to have to buy my own0 -

Requested MAC yesterday...made no difference to the offer0 -
As suggested by apt, give Plusnet sales a call. I'm sure they can beat BT.
The "free" BT Sport has to be paid for somehow!0 -

With my experience of previously trying to transfer to Plusnet prior to Christmas, and Plusnet losing my order, you can probably appreciate that I don't have a great view of them.
Also, the modem they supply appears (from looking at reviews) pretty poor..and I really do not wish to have to purchase a new modem (which would reduce any savings made in the transfer)...0 -
I got the same reaction - very arrogant BT lady - my contract is up in May so come April I will be moving to Plusnet. Their arrogance is unbelievable.Better to light a candle than to curse the darkness. :beer:0
