Any Data SIM Deals?
Hi
It's that time of the year again, my current data SIM deal is about to run out so I'm looking for my next deal. The SIM is for use in a Tablet or MiFi and 1GB a month will be ample. Currently using a Virgin SIM (EE/Orange/T-Mobile network) and that seems to work fine in the places I normally need it. O2 is hopeless in most of these places and Vodafone is poor in some.
I'm not particularly keen on the idea of the free(ish) 'watch advert' deals so I'm looking for the best straight pay-for deal.
At around the same price I would always opt for PAYG over contract.
Best I can find up to now is a 6GB/90 days EE PAYG SIM on ebay for £15 (normally £30 through EE) which would effectively cost £5 pm for more that I'd ever use. I could buy a few of these and throw away when they expire.
Is anyone aware of any other good deals for this type of use around at present?
I have looked at 'The Best SIM Only Deals' thread.
Cheers - Andy

You can get 250Mb preloaded on Voda PAYG for 1p, that means 1Gb for 4p + a lot of hassle.0

Interesting! Might get a couple of these to have in stock in case Voda is the only signal available somewhere. You can get 250Mb preloaded on Voda PAYG for 1p, that means 1Gb for 4p + a lot of hassle.

Virgin are doing the £15 a 30 day rolling contract all you can eat. Unlimited data (up to 3gb anything over that and your internet connection wont be stopped but it will be slowed down), unlimited miniutes and unlimited texts. Hope this works with your tablet but I only use mine with my mobile so not too sure.0

Sorry should have checked. I did a quick check on the virgin website and they are doing tablet sims £10 for 3gb data and 30 day rolling contract.0 -
1,000 MB a month for £0 per month?
http://www.ovivomobile.com/offer/ovivo-for-data/
You pay £20 for the SIM. £15 of this is credit in case you exceed the limit and £5 goes towards the SIM and administration.
Going beyond the limit costs 16p per MB so best to remain within the limit.0 -
Hi
Thanks to all for your replies. Think I'll probably go for the £15 for 3 months/6GB deal unless something better comes up in the meantime. Thanks for the Ovivo idea which would probably be OK for my own use but I don't fancy the idea of the adverts between browsing when using the connection to show things to non-internet savvy folk.
