Indoor Cat?
Comments
-
Myself and my mum have just rescued a pair of cats, the oldest (mine) being 8 years old.
At the moment both are being kept inside as we've only had them 10 days, but neither one seems to show any interest in going outside - I'm in the same situation as you, Twisted Cherry, in a ground floor flat on a main road, although I have a secure back garden.
We have a local shelter that even rehomes kitties with certain conditions as indoor kitties, as well as more nervous kitties that would prefer the indoor life.

Our local CPL fosters cats before rehoming, and has always been quite keen to avoid cats on main roads. So I think they'd be quite pleased to hear from somebody who wanted an older indoor cat (or two). I wouldn't assume, however, that an older cat would necessarily be happy to be inside. Our girl came to us aged sevenish, and she *hated* being locked up those first weeks.import this0
