Kittie - tell your daughter not to worry about the transverse lie just yet! I am sure that he will stabilze in a longitudinal position soon! Also to try: swimming.
sI did also lie flat down on the floor with a cushion beneath my head and my legs up a wall, with my bum pressed up as near to the wall as I could ( a sort of L position if that explains it) but I would check that one with the midwife as it can make you a bit light headed!
Not adviseable, would cause caval compression (pressure on the main blood supply), hence the lightheadedness.0 -
my DD didn't fully engage till i was 8cm dilated in labour. she was upside down but her head was at the top of my thigh till they broke my waters. she has plent of time yet.
