What do you mean no it's not. All the bits together is worth 70 quid if you were paying for them individually

there are only a couple of bits which are removable, the rest is a pallette, which S&G don't sell usually, which means its not easily transportable as individual cosmetics would be, and I'm not convinced that all the stuff in the pallette is full-size either (but I haven't see the comparison on that).

And would you pay individually, full price, for every single item included in the pallette? If you would, and the pallette includes full size items, fair enough. If you wouldn't buy every single item, or if the items in the pallette aren't full size, then its not worth £70.

with Boots the phrase when its gone its gone is very apt. Please be aware of the T&Cs for their advantage card. At the moment the advantage points expire 3 years after collection. From March that gets reduced to 2 years. I have just had £35 wiped from my card. They offered me £5 as compensation. I simply wasn't aware there was a time limit for spending them

Thanks for the tip off - do you know how to find out when they expire please?

    Hi,
You had me worried then, lol.
I have nearly £260 of points on my card which i obviously don't want to lose. I just spoke to Boots and i was told that points will only expire if you don't use your card for 2 years.

The T&Cs on the website say the same:

"Boots will remove Boots Advantage Card points from Advantage Card accounts that haven't been used for two years or have been closed."

    http://www.boots.com/en/Advantage-Card/Terms-and-Conditions/

Phew, I was worried there too!
  • Sorry guys, but can I be nosy and ask why do you keep so many points unused for years? I use mine as soon as they're worth a tenner or so. It's hardly an investment since you don't get any intetests or perks for having so many in your account?
Love saving, but not sure I'm doing it right!

I used to work in boots and two ladies used to compete to see who could earn most points they had thousands......many people save up for big ticket .items rather than squander on smaller things

    Collected my order today.

Especially pleased with the camembert cheese bakers. Ordered a few for gifts, to make up hampers with a nice bottle of red wine, for relatives/friends who are tricky to buy for. Been looking out for cheese bakers for a while and have never seen any this cheap - they were never worth full price but £3.60 is a bargain!

    Thanks again :)

Ordered two on your recommendation thank you
