    The outrage is because some numpty has removed the Gas and Electric subforums and lumped them in with LPG, Oil, wood, coal and other fuels.
    That gum you like is coming back in style.

    Not on my computer.

    Gas and Electricity is the main forum (now called Energy), and Water and LPG, Heating Oil, wood, coal and other fuels are sub forums branching off of it.

    That is how it has been since yesterday.

    Exactly Energy is the parent, Gas and Electric, LPG, Oil, Wood, eetc should. come underneath.

    I see.

    I guess the main issue is that Gas & Elec are not mentioned by name, though as they are the main forms of 'Energy' that people use, I see why MSE might make them the parent.

    How long is it going to take to fix the Energy board?
    No one wants GAS and Electricity mixed with LPG and other fools.

    It depends how your frames are displayed : -

    20% of my screen is taken up with two banners each of which is 3cm deep, that's a large 360cm of previously available viewable area polluted with banners with which I have no association or interest.

    Put simply I have had a large amount [14 square inches] of my own computer screen denied to me as an unforeseen consequence of this change, I would rather it wasn't there and my viewable area returned to my ownership.

    The only way I could find any posts was typing gas into the search bar so I did not hang around.

    I use the Sage RSS add on on Firefox to monitor the boards I'm interested in, new posts are then highlighted.

    I think I'll leave it a few days and see if anyone changes it back again.

    I think it's confused people already - they all knew what gas & electricity was but some are stumped with energy - already getting erroneous posts on other threads


    Why not just leave things alone when they are working
