NSD 1 for me today. Weekly shop done Saturday and had to send hubby out for tinned dog food and carrots yesterday. Gave him a fiver and for once he came back with no extra spend result.

Last night we sat and watched two episodes of extreme cheapskates of catchup. best comedy programme on tv. We did laugh especially at the woman who re-uses water for cooking food in.

My 19 year old step son was squirming in the chair when he found out it was all for real and not a work of fiction :rotfl:

  • I would like to join the challenge again this month even though I wasn't very good at posting my progress on the previous thread :(

I did achieve 13 against a target of 10 with 3 in a row (twice) so for February I would like to set a target of

    14 plus at least 1 3 in a row

Month hasn't started well with spends on both Sat and Sun plus a birthday present & card bought today so I've got some catching up to do.

Huge thanks to everyone who helps with this great thread
  • Ok, you talked me into it! As I'm going to count Saturday that makes 2 NSD!! Today almost was as the weather is horrendous, but had a stinking headache so went to the shop to get paracetamol.
But still pleased with my first 2, and it's only the third day of the month!:j
    8/10 NSD:)

A weekend of working meant February has got off to a good start with 2 NSDs for me!!!!

CW18 - Hellooooo stranger! Long time no "see", as they say. Welcome back to Ennessdee Towers, your coffee mug is still in the cupboard...and do you still have a freezer the size of Wembley Stadium, full of reduced bargains? (note for newer members - cw18 is the yellow sticker shopping queen!)

BigMumma - re compootas......heard a discussion on the radio this morning about acronyms. Someone said they knew someone in computers who, when called to fix someone's computer, often logged the call as a PICNIC - Problem in Chair, Not in Computer....that made oi larf....

(Yes, Igor, a romantic eastern Mediterranean theme for the NSD gang Valentine's do. What do you mean, Igor, what's in a moussaka? No, it's not mouse. And it's not chocolate mousse. And it's not one of them big fings wiv antlers. How should I know why they call it moussaka, it's all Greek to me....)
