The Fab-u-lous February NSD challenge!!

Yesterday (Saturday) was NSD #13, as when I went out for fresh veg that was all I bought

Today (Sunday) was NSD #14 despite being dragged to A1di and BnM by OH who wanted some bits... took my purse and backpack just in case I saw something I couldn't resist, but needn't have bothered
Looking at my records I'm pretty sure I only have 1 more D/Debit due this month, and that this'll be taken on Wednesday. DS1's at work the next 2 days, so I wanted to spend time doing some major housework which should remove the urge to spend. Then if the D/Debit goes on Wednesday I'll also be ordering some bits online and paying 12 months phone line rental up front (saves me almost £60/year), and trying to get into the city for a few bits I need (and hopefully home in time to get a couple of bits locally, although they can wait another week if I'm too late). So potentially Thur & Fri will also be NSDs..... watch this space !!Cheryl0 -

Thank you to soooo many people advising me re inclusions/exclusions in NSD's -it is interesting to see what people include and exclude, and their reasonings..
So,I have decided that I will finish February the way I have started,(am sure I can still reach target),then from March,NSD will mean "but I still might have bought milk, bread,or petrol today".......
Mind you, since cw18 mentioned it,my little mind has been ticking over at the thought of buying a bread-maker.I have had 2 bread makers over the years, though not for afew years now.
Then again,in Scouts,my 10- and 11yo learnt to make bread by hand a couple of months ago.Wonder how they would like a job........SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

I wouldn't be without my breadmaker.I've had two Kenwoods in the past. The first one was great, the second disappointing.I have recently bought a Panasonic, and am very pleased with it so far.
I have made bread myself in the past, and I really enjoyed it,but with a breadmaker I can be busy doing other things.
For a while I put any money left over from my weekly grocery budget aside at the end of the week. This money didn't count as a spend, and I would use it if I had run out of bananas, yogurt etc.I don't do this any more though.
Good luck with the new rules.0 -
