NSD 12!!!
bit of a grumpy day yesterday but I managed ithoping that the kids will settle for a trip to the library and park today so I don't have to spend. Tomorrow is a definite spend day as I'm off to the hospital and that's never good news. Plus parking is extortionate, as much as I'd love to walk the mile from home it's simply not possible with this leg as it is
As grumpy as I sound today I'm really not, half term hasn't been nearly as bad as I expected financially and the nice people at noddle have updated and I can see a clear reduction in the totals :j

Big spending day for me today as it's payday and need to pay a few bills, and pay for the items I bought on Credit card on Tuesday. SO seeing as it's a spending day I may aswell go and buy a few others things I need, and add an extra £8 to one of my my £365 pot challenge (I have 2 pots) to make it to £60, then run into the bank to lodge it to pay another bit off my credit card.
It may not be a NSD for me, but it'll be a productive day lolPay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0 -

Just reading about people's bread making activities.
I bought my bread maker just after Christmas, and I love it
I've done white and brown bread, pizza dough, rolls and a spiced fruit loaf which was delicious.
I'm pleased to confirm today as

Goldiegirl - I do a simple banana cake in my breadmaker (Panasonic, but probably would work in other breadmakers too).
Mix in a bowl 3 ripe, mashed bananas, 3 tablespoons oil, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoonful vanilla extract, 1 cup (250 ml volume) sugar and 2 cups (total 500 ml volume) SR flour. Pour into breadmaker - no need to line it or take out the paddle. Set to "bake only" mode for 55 minutes. Take pan out, let stand 5- 10 minutes then a gentle shake to turn the cake out. Nice sliced as it is or spread with butter.
Needs to be eaten same day or next day at latest or the bananas turn black, leaving horrible stains in the cake - still, I think, once tasted, you can cope with that little inconvenience? One life - your life - live it!0 -
I don't count the day I pay my credit card as a spend day, as I've counted the day(s) I used it. If I also counted the day I paid the card I'd be losing 2 nsds for a single spend (if I only used the card once).
I'm the other way around I don't count the day I spent on the credit cardI count it when I pay my credit card off when I pay other bills on payday so I'm spending all in one day and not over a few days.
I only said about paying Tuesday's spending on it as I'm trying my best not to spend on any of my cards at all. Trying to keep the debts from creeping up so paid off straight away.Pay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0
