Today was never going to be an NSD (1st working day of the month, so most of my D/Debits go out of the bank), so I opted to go and do some shopping that would also stop me classing the day as one as well.

Cue £90 on 2 external drives  I've had one for a few years, but this last week it's been threatening to die on me - and it holds all my photos and back-ups of all my documents that I can't afford to lose (especially as I no longer have any of them on my laptop, as the hard disk in that failed just before Christmas - thankfully giving me enough warning to back up the last few hundred!). So I've bought two - one of which I'll continue to use regularly (I have my music library on it), and one of which I'll do a full backup to on a monthly basis. That way I should be OK if/when one fails! And for as long as my original holds out I'm going to do sporadic backups to that and get my OH to take it to his place so I have "off site" backup in case of theft, fire of floor. (And consider buying another for that purpose when it finally gives up the ghost).

I did get my exercise in for today though. The retail park's 7.5 miles from home, and I walked there and back !!

Prob a bit late now but have you looked into Cloud storage too? That way not only are things backed up, you can access them from anywhere.

Well NSD #2 in the bag today. Took a fleece back I'd bought for boot camp, might regret that if it gets chilly  just heard that because we're forecast rain tonight boot camp is now moved to thurs morning....which means I'll have that and pole in the same day  I may or may not be able to move on Friday :rotfl:

Meal plans going ok this week but little things keep popping into my head of bits n bobs I need to buy, list ahoy!

    Happy hump day tomorrow xx

    NSD 3/15 today

Not sure if I'll manage it tomorrow or not, I'm supposed to be meeting up with a friend for a drink/food tomorrow after work. Although the last few attempts at meeting up have resulted in one or the other cancelling.
