Motorola Moto G - first smart phone
Thinking of buying this, upgrading from my Blackberry 9360 - so I don't need the very top-end spec smart phone to be impressed. The 16GB would be fine for me, I'm sure. Is there an updated version coming out this year? If so, when?

Secondly, I'm on a 24-month contract with VM which ends on June 25th. Will they be likely to upgrade the account this early? If not, when?

Thirdly, if I'm going to ring them, what is the best number? I would go to house-moving - retentions - for broadband, to get the best deal. Is there an equivalent number in the VM mobile dept?

Finally, would I be better off just buying the phone for cash? I have 3 mobile phones on my account (family members) so get a good discount and great deals from VM, usually.

The G has only been out a couple of months, if there is to be an updated version then it will be in November or so.

Just buy it SIM free from Tesco.

Thanks guys. Still rumbling on with my not-good smart phone. I guess I'll keep my eye out for offers on the net for buy only. But even VM offer a sim-only tarrif for £7/month, without all my benefits.
