Switching Nightmare

  • I agreed to switch over to Scottish Power after being cold called. However when the contract arrived it showed I would be paying more for my gas and electric (nearly £30 pcm). I cancelled the agreement within the 7 days of receiving it on the 21st December and didn't hear anything more until 10th January when they sent me an email saying the switch would soon be complete.

After trying countless times to ring I finally got though to a operator who told me I would be called back the next day at 6pm this call never happened. I have sent quite a few emails and am only met with an automated response and earlier this week I wrote a letter and copied in some of the correspondence. I'm at my wits end about it as I have now had another email from them saying they have sent me a bill to my online account (which I have not logged into as I have made it quite clear to them I dont' want to use their services)
Does anybody have any idea how I can proceed with a company that ignores its customers? Thank you
