Do you have a firewall running?

Not sure. How can I check it?

No, it's not there. I only can see Windows Firewall. Is it still worth adding Comodo Firewall or just Comodo Antivirus is enough?

I use Comodo firewall and Avast antivirus.

The issue i get when i help others is that something pops up and they click allow.

Do you want to allow INFECTYOURPC.EXE allow or deny...ALLOW...

Pointless having anything if your going to do that.

I checked the status Windows Firewall and it asked me to update Windows Firewall setting and that it's not using recommended setting. When I press "use recommended setting" it's came with notification from Windows Firewall "Windows Firewall can't change some of your settings. Error code 0x80070424." Even though I use Comodo antivirus, I worry that anything can get to my computer. Any suggestions?

Install comodo firewall and it will disable the windows one.

When something pops up and says do you want to allow.... Dont just click yes. read the filename see if something else is excecuting that file.

Virus.exe launced notepad do you want to allow =NO..

If unsure click no. But uncheck the always do this box. If it stops you doing what you wanted to then allow it.

No. You have to download it then do a custom install viz. deselecting everything except the firewall.

If it says "Windows Firewall is not using recommended setting. Update your Firewall setting" does it mean that the Windows Firewall is still on so my computer still has some Windows Firewall protection?

Yesterday I pressed the button to download it but it came with some cnet file so I did not go ahead. Then I was doing Full Comodo Antivirus scan and it found that cnet file I wanted to download, as "suspicious even though I did not download but just pressed"... That is why I don't know which one to download.

The file "Firewall Free Download" which opposite to "Upgrade tu full protection"

    or

the file below "Not sure about upgrade? get a Firewall Protection first".
