Can you help the Mash Monster Mummy?

Morning guys!
I need some inspiration!
I have acquired the nickname of Mash Monster Mummy as apparently I serve mash a lot. (it's half joking as I don't serve it THAT much!!)
However, I have some left over mash in the fridge (I cook double the amount to try to save fuel) and some left over roast chicken. Enough of both to make 3 generous portions which would be fine served as chicken and mash tonight with some veg.....BUT.... what else could I turn this into so I don't have to face the Mash Monster Mummy song at the table?
Can you help?! I need ideas! :)

I'd either freeze the mash n chicken separately to go towards other dishes or make a chicken hotpot with mash on top?

Freeze and use to thicken soup.
    'Conceal' in fishcakes.
Add chopped spring onions, butter and milk, and possibly salt and pepper & serve "Champ" the well known Irish treat (not sure how to pronounce britin!)
Add cabbage & onion & serve "Colcannon"
Add sprouts & cabbage & serve (BBC) Bubble & Squeak if you're tiring of any Irish references

And, if none of these work, remind them Monsters have Teeth... Which emerge when the Monster's sense of humour is tired.

All the best with your lucky livewires!

Ooh champ and colcannon are yummy, I do them regularly for my Northern Irish husband.

I sometimes add cheese or chopped fried onions to mash to make it a bit more interesting.

My mum used to pipe mash onto a baking tray and bake in the oven, but I can't remember what these are called.

Cook some veg, reheat mash, mix them together and call it a snowstorm ;)

Sorry, that's my best suggestion :)

I'd add a couple of yolks or 1 egg & make duchesse potatoes, or you can make them into mounds with a dip in the middle to serve something like peas or beans in.

Or, I'd mix the chicken with the mash & make the chicken equivalent of fishcakes :)

Jean Mitchell Roux junior made chicken croquettes on Food & Drink this week.
He mixed mashed potato with left over roast chicken + other flavourings, sorry can't remember what they were. He then breadcrumbed them & deep fried. Served them with sweet chilli dip.
    They did look delicious !

We love chicken and stuffing pasties. Just add some onion and left over stuffing with the lo chicken and mash.
