Aircraft seat plans don't match

I am trying to book specific seats using the Air NZ seat planner, but it bears no relation to the seating guru plan. e.g.
Air NZ - airbus A340-600, as appears during course of bkg, vs
http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Virgin_Atlantic_Airways/Virgin_Atlantic_Airways_Airbus_A346_2.php

I'm trying to book 61K, but am having to guess if it = 33K.

As I have to plot 4 flights, is there a better/consistent seat site please?

You're looking at a Virgin Atlantic plan - different airlines have different seating layouts. Is it a codeshare? Which route?

    Merci, jc -

Have just checked. It is VA first leg: VS0250 - LHR to Shanghai as part of Air NZ booking, 26 April. Sale ends today, so want to get this done.

    Virgin Atlantic seat maps 340-600

The airlines seat maps should be far more accurate than seat guru.

    V-flyer has routes and Aircraft

This is the most used A\C to PVG

This is the route for VS 250

Now if you're flying economy look at the V-flyer site Itinerary Calendar to see if someone will invite you into the Lounge.:D

This guy seems a good candidate

    Enjoy Shanghai
