    op can you post a copy of the judgement as Im sure it will help others
    Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

    I would like to add that if the energy suppliers simplified their billing customers would be able to notice billing is incorrect. Furthermore as you state the judge ruled in the OPs favour because they failed to understand npower s billing. This is prime example that the most educated people in the community are failing to comprehend their billing methods. I sympathise with the thread owner as I have been incorrectly billed by npower. They recently wrote to us and apologised for their billing error and stated it was a problem with their systems. I find this totally unacceptable and believe we should not be responsible after all it is their error not ours! I fully intend to pursue the matter further. This thread has definitely provided encouragement. So thank you for your high moral standards but not paying is money saving in my eyes! :wink::wink::beer::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    ...no idea what the previous poster means? If you read the thread again you have the whole story, bar the final chapter, as below...

    Anyway.... just to recap, there was a further period for which Npower wanted to charge me £400 having "corrected" their transposition of night and day units from 31st July 2013(when they phoned me) to mid September 2013 (when I finally escaped their clutches). I argued again, backing this up with the judge's ruling from the first period court case, that they should only correct the charge 30 days after they notified me of the error, and that the charge should be £100. They disagreed.
    They sent several letters threatening legal recovery, debt collection agents, and to ruin my credit rating.
    So I sent them their £400 with a letter explaining (once again) that if they cashed this cheque rather than correcting the charge I would sue on the day they cashed it.
    They cashed it, I sued.
    The case was due to be heard on a Monday at 10.00am in July. On the Saturday before, I received a cheque from Npower for the £300 I had claimed they were overcharging me, with a letter to say it was not an admission but a commercial decision.
    However, they had not paid my £55 court claim fee.
    On the Monday I attended court and sat in front of the judge in Npower's absence. The judge said "I understand you have had a cheque?" I confirmed I had, without the court fee, and with no discussion of the case the judge proceeded to make an order for payment of this amount, plus interest of £9.80 and my travelling expenses, also £9.80.
    Npower failed to pay the £74.60 in time and so I paid another £100 for a Warrant of Control so as to have the court bailiff once again visit Npower's head office to remove another pylon if they fail to cough up.
    This takes a while, and I have yet to receive this from the court, but I will, and then the matter is at long last closed.

    I think the previous poster is implying he does not fully believe you because you have not posted a copy of the judgement as he requested more than once.

    Personally I am very glad that you won in court and am grateful that you posted the details, including this latest update, here. The correct place for settling the rights and wrongs of a case is in court and the judge agreed with you. If npower didn't appeal then they shouldn't complain.

    I hope others are inspired to follow your action where they have a strong case.

    Npower are a disgraceful company in my view.
