Ikea Family Mobile Sim Activation
Just got a new Ikea Family Mobile Sim card.
Enclosed letter says to go to 'My Account' and click the 'Activate Sim' link.
There is no such link.
Can anyone who has an account please check to see if they have this link showing? I have been all over the site and all I'm finding in the help section is the same instruction referring me back to 'My Account'.
Happy to admit I'm having a 'Senior Moment' here but I really don't think I am.

Strange .....did you log in to the correct page ?Yes, I did do.For security reasons your new SIM card will not be active when you receive it. To activate your SIM card you first need to log onto the 'My Account' page by entering your username and password in the Login area. Once you are logged in, press the 'activate SIM' button. You will then be asked to confirm the activation request by entering your SIM card number, which will be printed on the letter sent with your SIM. It's easy to activate your SIM card online. It's not just about the money0 -
Yes.
All my details are there. Mobile phone number and all personal name details etc.
Also many other options displayed as square green buttons such as top up, itemised bill, add family member etc. Just no activate sim option anywhere.
Account is listed as active but also says 'blocked'.
Suppose I'll need to call them, no doubt on a premium rate number.Herman - MP for all!

You could try the "contact us" option, I did last weekend, and unlike Asda they actually reply & are helpfulWhen an eel bites your bum, that's a Moray0 -
Just thought I'd update in case anyone else is in the same boat and searches for info about this situation.
Apparently they have had issues with the activate button not appearing at times. It seems to happen more if people have a replacement sim they are trying to activate but that wasn't the case with me, this was the first sim I've had from them. It's being looked into but the problem is difficult to pin down.
Activated over the phone now.
I'm just glad there was no 'senior moment' involved.
