Well now you're just defending your side whilst falling on your sword.

It's pretty clear that we're talking about mid contract price increases. Tariff changes are obvious and often have prices increase or decrease. For example, I had an old phone I was paying £10pm for. After the contract ended I had the flexibility to go for any phone, however if i wanted to stay on the same tariff with a new phone it was now £11.50. So as you say, prices do go up on new tariffs.

But we are 100% talking about mid contract price increases. Also the contract you're talking about is 12 months... and without a handet...

Well yes and no, I'm sure at various points all networks have increased the prices , if they haven't I stand corrected, however I stand by that all those whining about it will stay or jump to somebody else and whine again later. What nobody seems to explain to me in words that I can understand is what the actual issue really is? I remember my very 1st contract in April 1994 there was notice on there about they reserve the right to increase prices.

Perhaps it's just me, but I never see the agreement as a fixed price 24 month affair.
