I found a Flea on me on Saturday.
I have 3 cats, and since then i have noticed there's been a bit more scratching than usual...
I can't buy them any Flea Treatments until the 3rd of February, is there anything i could be doing in the meantime?
I have been Vacuuming about incase of flea eggs.

That's what I hate about pets bringing Fleas in home, don't get me wrong as I like pets but can't stand them due to Fleas, fleas are disgusting :mad:0

You could try combing them with a flea comb to remove fleas and eggs - I keep a bowl of water next to me to plunge the whole comb in. We get Advantage drops and Indorex household spray from Amazon, and it stopped it all in its tracks last summer, but it's only a matter of time till it all ratchets up again with warmer weather."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

You probably don't want to hear that they might be in my bed now
Think i've been bitten and am certainly itching!
I hear you - I found one in my hair last summer after sitting on the sofa, and my legs were bitten to pieces! Never has so much fumigation been done in one house in one go ... Don't forget to hoover your bare mattress and pillows as well. Fleas especially like the edges of things, skirtingboards, seams on chairs etc."Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

I also bought a poundland flea collar and put it in the vacuum bag. I read somewhere about the cycle continuing otherwise. I have to say, hoovering every day is killing me, I'm more of a once a week person, but it's amazing how a flea landing on the arm can trigger a sudden cleanliness attack. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0

Martin get some T Tree oil (pound shop) dilute with water and spray onto cats. Watching their eyes of course.
You can also use it made up a bit stronger for spraying your carpets and furniture. Any loose cushions, blankets or even soft toys can be placed in the freezer overnight, that kills the little bliters.
most of the teachers I know swear by it. xx
PS did you know you can get a nitty nora comb on prescription:D just the same as flea combs.:oRIP TJ. You my be gone, but never forgotten. Please, be careful with tea-tree oil - I have been told over the years that it's toxic for cats. Ask your vet.0
