Good Morning All
Bright sunny but cold here today.
Not back at work till Thursday so today I am off to the hairdressers for a trim. Not many other plans so probably will spend sometime in the office and then clear the ironing pile.
Have taken some chicken legs out of the freezer, not sure what I am doing with them yet
Have a great day all.x0 -
Hi all,
Mum died at 6pm last night. She went quite peacefully in the end - she'd just had enough. It got me thinking about how we die, mum did her usual, no fuss, not inconveniencing us by keeping us up till the early hours of the morning. Dad didn't want to die and fought against it with all his might even though he was 81. He lasted 3 weeks after the dr gave him 24 hours and rallied so often no-one apart from a Marie Curie nurse was with him at the end. He was always a difficult customer.
Anyway, lots of stuff to deal with here so I'd better start.0 -

Tonight I'm going to cut out fluids after tea and see if it makes a difference.
Dh left me in bed and I did manage an extra couple of hours this morning.
Dishwasher emptied, house is reasonably tidy. I've no idea what to do for tea, shall have a look in the freezer, but hoping to spend most of the day lying on the couch like Carmen Miranda except not so glamorous:rotfl:
