Ongoing 6 payments late query

Will write to Style then although Experian and Equifax don't go as far back as Noddle but as far back as it shows it is 6 payments late. The main problem is my account is no longer on their system so not sure how they would resolve it. What is it that I need to quote regarding the 6 payments late status rather than a default? I've read it on here before I think0

Its not really your problem if its not on there system. They are still responsible for sorting the issue.
If you suggest a default date, they may well accept it.
Quote the relevent bits from here and tell them you will refer to FOS if they don't sort it:

Section 4:
"4 It is an accepted industry standard to record only serious ‘defaults’ with credit reference agencies. The term ‘default’ on credit reference files is used to refer to the situation when the relationship between the lender and borrower has broken down. A record showing a series of payments as six months in arrears when this does not reflect the real payment history should not be used as an equivalent of a default. Where a code is used to describe a default or variation in payment, it should always be accompanied by an explanation in plain and intelligible terms which informs the reader of its meaning. Well the letter has been sent today by 1st class signed for so let's see if they reply. I have already written to them once and so have Experian and had no reply. How long do you think I should give them to reply?0

14 days, then give the FOS a call and explain you are being ignored.
They are supposed to acknowledge complaints promptly so while the FOS might not be able to investigate until after 8 weeks, they can wake them up.:beer:0
