Another fan of Largs - some chips from the Blue Lagoon, an ice cream cone and a long walk by the sea to burn it off
Love the comments re. Irvine beach, I have family in Stevenston, so can attest to the truth of them.0 -
Sounds like a weekend day I had many times during my stay in Scotland. Lovely

Hi Bexster

The Viking is now the place to go for fish and chips - award winning, no less.
Did pop in to Nardini's and devoured a Raspberry Snowball Delight - was fantastic, and burnt it off in the play park with little FLC.
Wonderful day, expensive, but helped to blow away the post-operation blues.

Hi Edinburgher
Took my parents to Irvine Beach Park in March once, they dragged me into The Ship Inn for a brandy, too cold for them - that was their excuse anyway!

Still plodding on with the rehabilitation.
Naively thought I would save money while I was on the sick - no travel expenses etc. However as the aforementioned domino's splurges have shown me - I have no willpower.
I have signed up for Swagbucks, and looking at survey sites - keeps me away from ebay I suppose.
And I cashed in £50 from Quidco this week too.

Hi All
Well thats me back in the world of work.
Probably over did it, and worked overtime to try and claw back some of the splurges I had while off work.
Current mortgage is £96,300
Savings: £11,500
However, OH tells me washing machine sounds "clunky", and we have celebrations planned for our 40th's next month.
Oh and central heating has black water in it - which according to another thread sounds expensive.
Happy days - hope you are all well.

Money seems to be running away from us again.
Need to be more disciplined, but have very little spare time.
Have made a start, and rather than using the staff restaurant, at £1.50 per day, I have made steamed rice, tuna and sweetcorn - all things in the cupboard - and it should last me friday and saturdays shifts.

Morning all
A sunny day (for once) on the west coast of Scotland.
Having a wee look at the finances before going to work, in a moment of weakness I agreed to work Sunday too - after seeing the weather, I now regret this, but its money in the bank, I suppose.
Mortgage currently standing at £95,800 - will update signature when I get a chance.
Started using Swagbucks this week, but not getting very far at all with this.
