Blank PCN from UKCPS

I noticed a parking ticket stuck to my windscreen this morning & discovered it was from UKCPS. My son took the car out last night, so I have to assume it was attached then & he didn't notice it.

However, the ticket is completely blank (obviously the UKCPS muppet didn't press hard enough!), so I genuinely have no idea where, when or why the ticket was issued. My son went to a few places, so he isn't sure either.

I realise there is very good advice here on the forum, but does the fact the ticket is illegible mean that I could ask for the process to stop immediately?

Any advice gratefully received.

Wait for the notice to keeper to arrive in between days 29-56 after ticketing, meanwhile read the sticky threads by coupon mad below

When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

As Stroma states read the sticky and wait to see if NtK arrives.

Keep hold of the ticket though as a blank ticket could be an unusual additional point for a POPLA appeal.
  • Yes. Keep the blank ticket. Because it was blank, no Notice to Driver was ever served/placed on the vehicle. Therefore, to conform to PoFA, they should send an NtK within 14 days. They won't of course, as they think an NtD was served.

Which all means that when the NtK arrives, it will be too late to invoke keeper liability. And as you weren't the driver, you are not liable.

When you appeal to the Ntk when it arrives, tell them this, even include a copy of the blank piece of paper.
