Why cant I switch from First Direct to Nationwide?

    Probably more like Nationwide don't want customers who hog their phone lines and who seemingly don't appreciate modern internet banking and/or the concept of earning interest on current accounts.

    Seriously - hope the OP picked up the phone to Nationwide and sorted the issue.
