Ah i didnt know you can use the gift cards online now, when did this start?

Just makes sure if you are doing the price match, to pre emptively got all the items as pages on your phone or tablet, to show the staff.
No one wants to be waiting in a queue while you sort out your internet connection, and the staff are NOT obliged to look it up for you.

I thought Id got the info on my phone (couldnt get internet signal) ready to show the staff member and the item I was trading in wasn't on the shops system, I was on the verge of going to Cex to trade it in there when the girl said she could get it done just a different way and she even checked it with cex and it was all ok. She even checked an old Gamestation trade in card I had on me which I thought was empty and there was about £160 odd on it so a bonus from me.

New cards have a scratch off panel with 4 digits under. Adding those to the ones before make it usable online :)

Ah the scratch off numbers have been there 3-4 years, just were never usable before. Great news though,.. as long as no one exploits it lol
  • Traded in an old 3DS (£77) along with about 8 DS games yesterday at Game. Got about £150 in total. They did all the checking for me regarding CEX trade-in prices, though I offered to do it on my tablet. Pretty good as used 3DS's can be picked up for less than that on ebay.
