My cats all had raw chicken bones - what a bloody mess! They also had cooked bones for years because we didn't know any better and they kept pinching them from the bins! We stopped that after we found out, but boy am I glad they never caused any problems inside.
I'm sure your vet has been confused, a raw diet is much better for your cat, but it must be a well balenced diet, including everything your cat needs. I've just come on here asking for advice on that very subject. :-)

Raw is good for them HB, but a high protein diet can be constipating for some cats, hence it's advisable to include plenty of water and maybe a few drops of salmon oil in with a meal. Raw wings are supposed to be great for the teeth though and as a treat, so it's unfortunate that the other poster's cat got so constipated on one!

Probably where I went wrong. All I gave them was a chicken wing once a week (as well as their normal food;)). Since stopping the signs of constipation have all but disappeared.

I don't think the protein itself should cause any level of constipation, but an overload of bone can.
However, a lot depends on how you interpret the idea of constipation. Many cats fed on poor quality dry, or even wet food, will poop several times a day. My raw fed cats might poop once every 3 days and they pass small, very firm stools. It does not mean they are constipated.
