The laziness drives me around the twist (especially teenage laziness) and I've had to have a few house meetings regarding male attitude.
I get really fed up with having to buy anything for me in pink or the rest of the house think they can have it - pink kindle cover, pink earphones, pink deodorant, pink wellies etc.
But as long as they leave my stuff alone and give me a bit of space when I ask for it, its not too bad.
The boys rooms though ....... toxic.
Husband and 3 boys here.
My favourite colour is purple, but that doesn't work because the 17 and 18 year old also love purple. Pink used to work, even though I hate it, but last week when I bought some earbuds on BOGOF I bought one pink and one black, hating the pink but thinking that at elast I'd get to keep them, and the 17 year old asked if he could have them instead of the black :rotfl:
They've stolen all of the 'girl' socks I've bought too - pink ones with mice, etc.
On the plus side I don't think they smell, burp or fart more than females. The room that the two teenage boys share smells at times but a 'yankee candle' reed diffuser helps with that.
Every so often the 18 year old will clean the bedroom, polishing and hoovering like mad but in between times he's really messy and just piles litter up on his desk. He's the only one who ever feels the urge to mop the kitchen floor. He's not ours though - I think tidiness might be inherited rather than gender specific. I'm just as lazy and messy as my sons!52% tight0
