My favourite story is the first one ... who wouldn't want to be a bumblebee? :D

And on that theme, I'll chuck this into the Saturday Evening Discussion Pot, in case the conversation starts to flag:

When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
(and did you manage to become that?)

I'll start: I wanted to be a fire engine driver, on one of those big American articulated fire trucks with the turntable ladder. Sadly, I'm not:(

Policewoman or a Vet became neither :(

Fine :) Though HC is here and he is planning our modes of transport for upcoming holiday (change of plan) makes a change as I usually have to deal with it all. So if there is any !!!! ups along the way I know who to blame :D

Weather is ok, a bit gusty but we had lovely blue skies today instead of rain, just that alone makes a world of difference.

Oh and how could I forget the rugby score :j:j
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

For first couple months I was wishing I hadn't fetched her home she was so naughty. I felt sorry for her wondering what sort of house she had come from. All I knew about her was she was found wandering around the streets of Manchester. :(

Then one day she was a good girl and been good ever since apart from barking at most dogs when we are on walkies :)

tweets you are an :A. She obviously knew she'd fallen on her feet and you were made for each other. :)
    Hope is not a strategy.

    Hi all.

Hope you are all having a good day. How are the glamorous TWEETS and the adorable POPPY?

Just nipping on to say I got my letter from the elections office asking for my availability when the elections are. It's a good earner be it just for one day. I am sure a lot of you have done it already and know all about it. I've posted on the main board as well. Details are below:

Poppy lay by my side and I using her for an armrest :)

I love it when I come home from work or shopping and she jumps up for a mummy huggle then looks at her harness for walkies. :)

Is it your latest that's naughty ?

    This is so exciting.

How did you go about getting on the bone marrow list?

I've been donating blood forever but I was rejected as a platelet donor - wrong sort of veins - apparently young men have ideal veins :D I was too old to donate eggs :(
I wondered about bone marrow though ...

When I was still giving blood I signed up. I haven't given blood for about 3 years as I was asked to stop as I had a blood transfusion when I had my son 30 years ago and they said they could not take my blood anymore. Here are a couple of links with details of how to sign up.
