CEX and phones - a friend's hubby bought her a Blackberry for Christmas from CEX. Spent a few days trying to set it up for her then put her sim in it and it wouldn't connect. He rang Vodafone and it turned out to have been reported stolen so he took it back and ended up paying an extra tenner for another one - they are the family with 6 Kids who I have been trying to train

Grandchildren just arrived, asking if I have any more of the fab burgers I gave them.

Do they now call you the Burger Granny?:)

The lady who used to live next door to my parents, because of what she treated her little grandchildren to when they came to visit, they called her the Fish and Chip Grandma.

    Good afternoon

Before I found this thread I was quite happy wombling while most of the people I knew thought I was mad

Now I know I'm sane and the glitches have bought a new dimension to the wombling.
This thread has given me a new hobby and stopped me being bored as well as keeping my mind active.

I also think the advise and support given to everyone is wonderful.

I can never find any wombles, where do you find yours ?
If you don't mind me asking.:)

:( Jigsaw coat went for almost £90 in the end. I can afford it but was annoyed at having to bid that much for a used coat. So I let it go. !!!!!!. I'd already done that whole 'imagining yourself walking around in said coat' stuff. And planned other outfits around it. Ah poo poo poo poo poo

Oh sorry you never got your coat. Sure to be a better one soon :)

    Afternoon all
Hope everyone is ok and had a good day. DGS1 not long gone back home and I've not had time to catch up yet but hope to get a spare hour or so to do so later.

Had this pic sent on FB earlier (probably old news to some) it had the title "You've got to be old school to get this one", well it did make me laugh so I'm now not sure if I'm old school or just old :rotfl:

Hi - quick M7S question - does anyone know if the pre-stamped cards for a free greetings card work with Valentine cards? TIA :)

£25 in Maplin, if you have a branch nearby. Plays pretty much anything, including disks burnt at home. I got one a couple of years ago (earlier model), works a treat.
Mr T used to do a similar DVD player for a similar price, too, but haven't checked recently.
