    Evening Nutters :D

off to try to catch up ......

Just booked Gym induction for tomorrow- terrified - have never set foot in a gym in my whole life. Also terrified of the commitment to pay for a year - but massively discounted as I work for local council ...so works out cheaper that a couple of swims a week.

Panic mode now......what do I wear? Do I change when I get there? Do I take a towel? Will they have oxygen tank available ??:D

When I joined a gym I went in my gym clothes but there will be changing rooms there for you. I must admit I preferred the classes to the gym, have a look and see what they do. It's a brilliant way to make new friends though...well done!

    Wow. Good for you darl.

I am thinking of switching gyms next week when my membership runs out. There is one guy who comes in when I am normally there and he smells absolutely vile. I'm sick and tired of having to hold my nose closed as I work out. Maybe I should tell him to join Bzzagent and he can get some free deodorant!

Wear something comfortable, possibly some sexy lingerie and nothing else. Hahaha, just kidding. They will only show you the ropes tomorrow so a t shirt and some jogging bottoms will suffice. Can't say about the towel. Take one in case.

Hope it goes OK for you. And don't worry about people looking at you, they will be too engrossed in themselves to notice you if it's anything like the gym I go to.

Has anyone posted a picture of the co op champers box?

Planning on checking a few tomorrow to see if they've been restocked. Haven't found any yet.

In all the stores I have been in they are NOT on display at all, they are kept in a cage out the back or in the office in a locked cupboard........I had to ask them to check out the back......boxes are black with gold striping/writing and 2002 on the front. hth.

thanks oh smart 1 :A! I had not intended actually using the gym but need to do the induction to get my membership ....which I will use for swimming a couple of times a week and hopefully a couple of classes a week (water aeorobics looks do-able!)

How on earth to make friends when I will be unable to talk ?!!!

really nervous as never been inside a gym!
