Do we all know about these 'bits' :rotfl:

Have you looked instore at the price of the ariel cheer1eader, is it £3 or £5.20 on the shelf?

If its on the shelf for £3, overcharge at the till gives a £2 giftcard. ;)

I think so? Lol S&G, naans, plenty big roll ;)
Hmmm I just noticed on my comparison 1 of the fanta bottles I bought hasn't shown on there as 2 bottles at a's is the same price at T's but 1 on its own is cheaper at a's?
No didn't check price instore :( they've never given gift cards at our a's when we've been overcharged :(

As you know been having trouble with my sister about work. just been away for 4 days in London with her and it went ok. However this morning she came in to collect her washing she left in the van last night. its her birthday tommorow and i had her pressies ready. she came in and said she does not want me to do her bookkeeping anymore as she does not want me knowing her business. I am really upset as she knows the diet thing went wrong so financially I am in a bad place. She refused to take her presents and I just told her to leave.
Need a quiet day on my own now I think

I still think your sister needs you more than you need her, try to make the break from her abuse/misuse of you xxx

    Translation:

She doesn't want to pay you to do her books, so is thinking of an excuse to avoid it.

This is a positive result. A little while back you said you didn't want to do her books but felt obliged to do the next VAT return(s) and wanted to stop at the end of the financial year. She has saved you the awkward conversation. Ok you don't like the reason, but this is the result you were looking for. If you want, you can tell her that you were thinking of dumping her work anyway as it wasn't paying. Or keep quiet and just think it.

Thanks buyitall, both cases were pretty good selections not sure what colour you went for, but few of the reds were thoroughly enjoyed last night at our party. :D

One of our guests is a bit of a proper wine connoisseur and he was even excited to try one of the bottles that he never tried before.

Only the one Weight Watcher's in the white case, I didn't try anything from that last night as still had 1 OGIO and few of the Co-op glitchy white that was £1.50 left so thought better use them first.

Hope yours arrives ok. I do need a partner in crime on this one.

I ordered a case each of red and white, will update with contents if/when they arrive

The thread is even more heart-warming than usual today :smileyhea
Don't have much more to add except to say thanks for making me feel welcome. I have followed the thread for a while and occasionally dipped in, but my unfortunate lack of a sada in my vicinity has often stopped me from from joining in properly. Recently I have tried to post more and I have enjoyed the witty repartee, caring responses, sharing of ideas and general camaraderie which is extended to all :lovethoug:lovethoug

Hiya  wow I think I've caught up to the beginning of this thread (thanks Squigs), was supposed to be catching up with the other one last night but got a bit teary, so had a desperate housewives marathon with a bottle of wine and feeling much chirpier today :D

Just to join in with the 'thanks to this site/thread' bit, there are so many things that I could write an essay

Thanks to this site, I have managed to drop one day a week while I try and shake off this persistent depression and still just about scrape through (I think I'd have lost my job if I hadn't). We still struggle a bit and still running up a bit of debt, but...

Thanks to this thread, I have hope that I can turn this all around. Also in RL, I don't talk about :money: to anyone, so it's a godsend to have people with the same aims and the same lack of snobbishness here that can relate to what it's all about

I don't post very much, and don't always feel like I've been here long enough to comment on the more personal posts...but you've all brought me laughter, reflection and joy (as much as I can feel it anyway ;)). Thank you :grouphug:
