Yesterday whilst scanning items in Tosco, i found the Zumba exhilerations set that someone posted about, i tried scanning it on the handheld scanner and got a message saying that this item cannot be added to basket at this time and to take it to a cashier so i then went on to scan it on the instore scanner and got another message saying to contact a member of staff!.
Anyone know what it is likely to scan at at the checkout?
I was too chicken to try it , would have gone through self scan but it had a security tag on it:( so SA would have had to have some sort of input.
we're off for a free brekkie soon too
then got to pop to t's to get packed lunch stuff & bits so will look for some 1p bargains again :rotfl: what's the chances of being checked for a random hand self scan shopping check for the 7th time this week:eek:
 Happy Bargain Hunting!! :beer:0 -
Nothing you can do about that, don't stress as you will make yourself more ill
You never know what life is going to chuck at to you next, your work will just have to be understanding.
Hope it heals quickly for you xxxx
Thanks FF, I had the chest infection in the Xmas/new year break and only needed two sick days, the flu I had already booked holidays and worked from home a few days, so only a half day sick there.
I'm hoping a week will be enough to get the wrist pain sorted before I get back to work.
It's going to be a long year........Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.0 -

It may be that I misread and as you say this be uncomfortable to explain if stopped.0 -

Not sure about this I haven't been lucky enough to find one lol but I do have a tip regarding tagged 1p items.
When you get to SS you can ask the SA to un-tag things before you even scan them, sometimes they will offer to do that anyway. So if I found something now that's what I would do. There's nothing wrong with that as I see it and while you wait you can either start scanning your non-1p items or just wait for them to get back with your newly untagged item.
Then wait for them to shift before scanning it!Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be
And get lots of glitches!0 -

Vouchercrazy thanks for this. I can't find an isbn for any of the books, so it looks as if I need to search by book description and use the small bit of info in the front of the books, such as publisher, date etc as you suggest.
Thanks again.
Good morning everyone
No problem, if you get stuck or can not find any details, if you give me what little details you do have and I can investigate further for you
Before ISBN it used to be SBN, to turn a SBN into a ISBN you put a 0 in front of the SBN number, a boring bit of information this time in the morning :rotfl:
Now off to get my free breakfast, see you all later0 -
