When I got the pental sets, the first time I went through the till all of them had the correct barcode, so no issue.

When I went back through, I had cleared the shelf of all stock, so some had the wrong barcode. I just made sure that the top one of all the neat piles I had made in my trolley had the correct barcode, so whichever one the SA got to scan through when telling the SS till I had 40+ of them scanned at 1p.

All the products are the same, so was not an issue.

I considered this for a split second yesterday ... Then decided if the barcode was different by definition it was a different product (even though packaging and contents appeared identîcal in all other respects) so thought better of it and took the two 1p ones and left the others. May or may not be one of those grey areas, just saying not for me.

Yes, the Roasting Parsnips were priced at 91p on the SEL:rotfl: but went through at correct price of £1. Roasting Parnsips used as a random deduction of £2 off the bill.

Thanks Sal for the original info.:T:T:T, and fairclaire, I believe, for the info. she provided on here.

My bill was a few pence after APGs, so another good shop!!:j (Wish every one of them was like this.)

10 items on your bill qualify for comparisonASDALogoWhite.gif Tesco

    1 x ASDA Fresh Tastes Whole Pineapple£1.50£1.00
    Comparison total£9.35£6.00

CS gave me the 9p back - whereafter I asked about the GC. CS said she had taken my word for it, but would need to get someone to check if it was a GC. I was quite happy to wait, as I told them the SEL said 91p.

My word turned out to be correct:rotfl:.

I wasn't ever going to buy Parsnips until I saw that they were 30p allegedly in T. I looked for them for the shopping list tonight - and when I saw that 91p, I rushed straight for them!!:D There are some 500g fresh ones at 60p for Mr M and I think I've seen them comparing on here - they were and are too dear for me however as they go down to 50p on Mr A r'llbacks. Then I saw the frozen roasting ones on here and they were ideal!! Many thanks Sal!!:T:T:T:T

Thanks also to the OP about the correct GW - although, by this stage now, I wasn't really bothered too much whether they worked or not:rotfl:.

Note that the Fresh Tastes Pineapple (B/C ...373560...) is returning N/A vs Morries. This may start to 'glitch' once the price collection goes online, if it does.

I'm not just a pretty face.Well done on the parsnips.Gift card as well. Can't be bad.:D:D

I was hoping to do some wombling today.Done hardly any for the last couple of weeks because of the rain.My pile of apg's is going down.We have just had another heavy shower but it looks like it's
    brightening up a bit.

Also not for me. If the products were all the same would you have minded Paying them £8 for each one or would you kick up a fuss. Very dodgy ground I feel.

Hmmm 1p bargain hunting and possible trouting for it, can't believe I'm considering but might go armed with some print outs ;)

    Good morning all

It was a beautiful sunny morning. Dh is out for a 10 mile run but now its heavy sleet, but peace and a cuppa while 2 GC potter about.

GD (4) said wedding was pretty boring. All speeches and things and she wasn't allowed to make a speak about her gift box:p

forestroxydog Hope your day is ok

bubbs there is nowhere like home

Flo flo well done on the weight loss

Hopepray, hope your wrist heals quickly. My work are clamping down on what appears to be non genuine illness.

As I posted last DH picked up 1p toffee and thought he would just go to another tosco and get loads more stuff. He has no idea of the effort all the elite have put in :rotfl:

I am off to prepare the dinner and yes its bubbs beef :T

    Now that would be telling:)

Suffice to say it was the Accountants Ball and it was a miracle that I got aau to the train station on time. As he was running along the platform , all the cheeses he'd nicked from the cheeses board were flying out of his pocket:rotfl:

    So you stole them

No they said I have 40 of these nad handed one to be scanned then paid the price asked.

But you will get responses like this if you post openly on here about this sort of thing. We all have different ways of taking advantage of glitches, pricing errors etc. Most of them the shops would frown on heavily, lets not start throwing stones at each other.
